I have 2 theories to explain the lastest episode.
My first one is that even though he jumped off a building, that guy will still be alive in the future. I dont think this is correct but im just saying it incase it is.
MY second explantation would be that they saw a glimpse of a possible future, one that most people dont want to happen. we now know that the guy who's son is in the hospital and the guy from lost are behind the flash forward while conducting an experiment. Perhaps they did this experiment on themselves, saw the future and didnt like it. They then decidied the only way they can change the future is by showing everyone in the world it in the hope that they wont want that future and will go out their way to change it. So when that guy jumped off the building, he has probably been one of many to do this for whatever reason. This in a way is the butterfly effect, because even though they havnt gone back in time, they might aswell have. So perhaps the guy from lost was holding that bracelet at the end because he saw the future previously showing the death of "annabelle" and because he is a quantum physicist he thinks he can change it.

Either way, all this leads back to the guy from lost and lord of the rings. he obviously loves someone called Annabelle and now needs to do these flashforwards as a way of preventing something happening to her.

well what's happening is the show is showing that some people want to change the future and NOT want it to happen (e.g. that guy from harold and kumar), and some people really want it to happen( that guys sponsor, and also that guy), have you noticed his making the future happen, by collecting all that evidence. its like, when he saw that paper with blue hand written on it, he didnt even think for a second to not bring it back to the office. what if he didnt?.. he could of chose.

powerfull show...

i think i'm addicted to flashforward.

what i began to see as well written suspense policial story turns out as an addictived intense drama by chapters.

to snap out of it i think i need some blue hand party this weekend.

it was obvious from the first episode that these were only possible futures, if anyone has watched donnie darko they explain that it is not possible to see an absolute future as this would give people the option of changing it therefore making the vision meaningless, its like what they are seeing definately wont happen.
