This show is simply following the logical theory. The time paradox. If you killed you grandfather, you wouldn't exist, therefore you didn't go back to kill your grandfather. That means you would exist. Whatever time travelling that has occurred has already occurred. You can't change the past because that would make it impossible to create the events leading to how you went into the past. The future is the same. It's inevitable because the future only occurred because the past did.

that's not a flaw in the show at all, because the main character's flash forward was entirely based on information he'd gathered about the flashforward happening, so how could people's futures be independent of what they saw influencing their actions?

This is against Back to the future theory. In back to the future the future they would see would be as if the flash-forward never happened. Then after returning to the present an alternate reality would spawn because of the flashback changing people's knowledge of the world and their actions, leading to a different future.

ok, this sucks!! Megavideo is removed, Videostic is missing the final part and TVshow7 doesnt play ep 7, but ep 5.. I wanna watch the final 5 or so minutes as I hear the dead daughter shows up !!! Dammit :O((((((

it was obvious from the first episode that these were only possible futures, if anyone has watched donnie darko they explain that it is not possible to see an absolute future as this would give people the option of changing it therefore making the vision meaningless, its like what they are seeing definately wont happen.

well what's happening is the show is showing that some people want to change the future and NOT want it to happen (e.g. that guy from harold and kumar), and some people really want it to happen( that guys sponsor, and also that guy), have you noticed his making the future happen, by collecting all that evidence. its like, when he saw that paper with blue hand written on it, he didnt even think for a second to not bring it back to the office. what if he didnt?.. he could of chose.
