it's funny that whatever the "specials" do, they will be hunted down because it's an idiologic fight. If they defend themselves they will be bad guys and if they run away they will be pray. they can't win. peter did the right choice by not shooting

lol if you stop and think everything makes cence your an idiot if u cant piece thing together on your own its called heroes and is based on super powers and i would answer all your idiotic rants on ppl dieing and what not ill try to make it simple so u can understand, -this show trys to have everyones own story dont got time to piece it for you most ppl do for them self -healin power heals no matter what as long as the blood is there atomic power dont hurt the bomb/peter shows called heroes (ppl on missions to save someone or something) they all have there own little story and problems but overall the show is for the big picture and all you bitch about are the little things that can easily be pieced together also the personas of the char are as they are if you dont like any but one your just picky and dont really keep an open mind on opinions for that actors or how they are to be displayed

I absolutely love Heroes, especially season 1. Though I only enjoy the parts with Sylar and Hiro anymore.... it's a great show, I just find that they aren't acting realisticly.

Clair keeps switching from "I want to be normal" to "I'm different, let me be special" almost every episode; switching from daddy's girl to b*tch, and back and forth. With what's happened in her life, she'd be ROOTED to one side by now. Maybe mess up 2 or 3 times. Just make up your mind Clair. Stop being stupid.

Peter - he's been a nurse, watched people die, absorbed Sylar's will to kill, exploded into a nuke, betrayed by his own mother, father, and brother ..Suresh as well. He's been to the future, he's believed Sylar was his brother, he watched his girlfriend Simone die, he's had his powers stolen by being too trustworthy, he then became a paramedic and watched people die normally. Explain to me HOW ON EARTH he thinks killing someone will make him a bad person. It's stupid. Future him went back in time and SHOT his brother because it made them be hunted ..but he can't shoot a psychopathic, job-obsessed leader of the organization who just told him that he'd stop at nothing to kill them all ...BUT, if Peter shoots him, the organization will still go after him. Can SOMEONE explain to me how that made Peter not shoot him? Company that's going to try to kill you, or company that's going to try to kill you and is led by a psychopathic, power-hungry, untrustworthy, job-obsessed moron who will use his personal vendetta to target YOU specifically. Yea, just let him go. Smart. It's not what he realisticly would have done.

Suresh - First he's working to find his father's progress, then to study these people, then to try and help them, then to be one of them, then to discover how to give powers to the WHOLE world (because it worked out so well for him), then to try and stop that, then he ends up betraying every character in the story that has met him, and SOMEHOW manages to have not learned yet.
Once again, believable character = good show. People EVENTUALLY learn from their mistakes.

Nathan - Trying to live up to your father's ideals IS an excellent character flaw; it carries a good mix of weakness while being strong in a way. A lack of confidence. But if your father just tried to destroy the world, AFTER trying to kill you, and paralyzing your wife, why would you even negotiate with that ....moreso continue LIKE him? You felt what it was like to be betrayed by everyone, so you learn from that and somehow end up betraying everyone as well. And you're one of them. Stupid. Not believable because of the things that HE has experienced in the show so far.

Nikki/Jessica/whatever - There has been LITERALLY 4 characters so far by the same actress. She's a good actress but SERIOUSLY. Stop using the same person. It's bad writing, bad scripting, bad story-telling ....just... bad! She's Nikki's "twin sister"? Okay, fine, why not ...USE A NEW ACTRESS. Which brings me to the #1 flaw with this show.

LET SOME OF THE CHARACTERS DIE!
Yes, some, like Elle, do. That's great! Do you know what's not great? Bringing them all back to life. I understand you love your characters, I'm an author, I love my characters too. When they die, you have to let them go. Supernatural brought Bobby back as a ghost. It. Is. Bad. Story. Telling.
Peter dies, then absorbs Clair's ability, and comes back to life. (2 or 3 times I think)
Sylar dies by being IMPALED through the chest by a samurai sword. (with no healing abilities, then comes back next season).
Matt (cop guy) gets shot like 5 times in the chest. Is fine next season. Has no healing abilities.
Peter explodes into a nuclear blast. He has healing, but that would have destroyed his brain by the force of the impact wave alone. He is fine about 5 seconds later.
Nathan CARRIED Peter up to "nuke himself", survives. No healing abilities. (his scars even get healed later on due to Adam's blood).
Nathan gets shot 2 times in the chest by future Peter. Survives.
The Petrelli father is dead. Somehow was alive.
Mr. Bennett got shot IN THE HEAD. No abilities whatsoever. They use Clair's blood, and he survives. That one REALLY pissed me off, because if he died, it would have actually stood for something. He should have stayed dead.
Adam was about 5 feet away from the middle of what could be summed up as a carpet bombing.
Mrs. Petrelli was put in a sort of coma. Leave her like that!
DL was going to die, somehow survived for the next season.
Sylar had his throat cut when his abilities didn't work.

Worse part is I'm probably FORGETTING some of them.
I watch the show, and don't worry about anything. Why? Because nothing anyone does has any consequences. If the whole world exploded in this show, I'd half expect that clair's microscopic blood particles would infuse with everyone else's, INCLUDING the actual earth, and it'd rebuild itself in 5 minutes. Everyone is brought back to life somehow, but Hiro was never able to go back in time and save anyone. Bullsh*t!

You know why Game of Thrones is going so well? The Walking Dead? Supernatural? Characters die. Not all the time, but they do die. This gives a HUGE believability to character development, and how people react the way they do. Gives them something to fight for that we can believe as an audience.

You can't have characters that don't change, and you can't have change without a cause. That ALONE is what has shaped us into who we are as individuals. Put more work into it for a show.

The only character I see actual character development in is Sylar. He is the sole reason I watch this show. It's believable how he's changed, and why... I can relate more with the "villain" then I can with ANY of the "good" heroes. That's fine. But I shouldn't be watching a show because of ONE character, when it revolves around 10-15ish.

My rant is over.

Matt almost never deserves a lot of the stuff that happens to him. He is the show's punching bad. He is the sweetest yet he always gets picked on by the writers. I think he needs a hug.
