This seriously needs to be fixed. The videostic alternative skips like mad. It's insanely buggy. A little after 2min into part 2 of 6 it automatically skips to part 3. Then very shortly after starting part 3 the video automatically skips to part 4. If left alone it does this until it skips to part 6 then ends abruptly.
Currently in this form the video is simply unwatchable. Out of synch sound would be preferable to this, then I could actually watch the episode.
Other episodes using this player are also bugged. PLEASE FIX.

Peter does start developing new powers, his first one is being able to control the length of his own hair at will......great if he needs a quick disguise. Later he finds out he can get red wine stains out of almost any fabric and gets a job at a dry cleaners :)

can't wait for the next ep. for those worrying about the unsynchronised sound: try opening the video twice, in two different windows/tabs then mute one (this is for watching) while you hear the sound from the other let them load, then play them together - first the 'sound' video then the other it may take a bit of tweaking to find the right timing, but i've found this is the fastest method of watching heroes hope that helps ps. what's the bet that peter takes his dad's ability and then gets all of his powers back - the son-beating-their-father story was already shown with matt and maury - hmmmmm

Well, the DivX version of Heroes episodes appear and vanish very fast. They're up for about less than 10 hours after NBC's telecast, so if you want to catch it you better do it fast. That's how it goes for me.

I wonder why does megavideo versions always go out of sync. Its really frustrating. Although I am always lucky enough to watch them in DivX on other sites (I would love to write it down but this website keep on editing my comments and take away the link), I ran into this trouble before during episode 6. Peter may have absorbed his dad's power but, like with Sylar's power, he didn't know quite what it was and couldn't use it straightaway. And by the way, his dad smust have taken all of the powers that peter absorbed. Hence the lightning

ps - that painting by usutu of 4 villins, the 1 next to arthur, looks slightly latin, the company founder mendez by any chance? i would love to think that that the godsend helix was for the primatech founders (reflected in the pinehurst logo which is a helix with the abilty 1 attached) but the ones who had other interests (giving powers to the world) so arthur can pick nd choose the best, which also makes me think arthurs power is natural not synthetic.

Batchboy the futre we saw has now changed, futr peter chaged it when he told present day peter to take sylars power in the futre. What i want to know now is why the second generation mutants ie clare and elle's power goin on the fritz? and are the second generations abilities superior to there perents. Matt Parkman manged to over power his fathers ability so peter might be able to do the same. Its funny that that the company dont just send the hasian to kick pine hurst asses. it would be a short series if they did that i suppose.

I don't think Claire's blood will cure Peter, it only cured the shanti virus before, like when Sylar used it, and why nikki was going to use it before she died. I assume that peter hasn't been given the shanti virus and that Arthur took Peter's powers completely. He's definitely going to get them back though!!

I don't think peters absorbing power is gone, i just think his system is still in shock after loosing all of his powers. After all, he had a LOT of powers. Also, if Arthur's head is removed, somehow i doubt he will be able to come back from that, like Adam. And I don;t think Claire's power is going on the 'fritz', i think its just the natural evolution of her power. As for Elle, well, one would assume it is to do with her freaking out when Sylar tried to kill her, Post Traumatic Stress or summate. And Peter survided the fall because Sylar didn't want him dead. Which means Peter must still be a threat, which is why I don't think he lost his original power.

If peters absorbing power has not gone, as soon as his dad removed all peter's powers, he would have instantly reabsorbed them - and all of the extra powers from arthur and the rest of the people in the room. which means he would have healed from the fall.

Telepathy (specifically flinging people out of the way, or pinning them up against walls) has to be the most over-used ability (and hence action sequence) in the whole show. What happened to the range of abilities that Peter and Sylar have absorbed? Melting objects, for example hasn't been used since it was first introduced - am I wrong?

i would love to think that that the godsend helix was for the primatech founders (reflected in the pinehurst logo which is a helix with the abilty 1 attached) but the ones who had other interests (giving powers to the world) so arthur can pick nd choose the best, which also makes me think arthurs power is natural not synthetic.
