An official term for this technique is called "Steganography". This technique can be used to hide trademark information in images and other files. As the video mentioned, it is also a technique that can be used to pass messages. You can also password protect the archive file to make messages more difficult to intercept and view.
Caution: There are ways to detect hide files or messages inside of other files. So, don't get too comfortable with using this technique as a foolproof way to pass secret messages.
