There's a lot of "close up on eye opening- dramatic pupil dilate" moments. Pretty sure it was the opening shot on the first episode of lost too.

Maybe Hurley isn't sick; just fat? Or maybe the island doesn't want Hurley to be cured? Ben got sick on the island because the island wanted him too, so maybe the island doesn't care about Hurley either

If the island cures diseases, how come Hurley's morbid obesity haven't been cured yet. He's been on the island for months, been walking for days eating nothing before he found the dressing. He should at least have lost a few pounds.

Ok, well to start with- John and Locke are the same person. Also, Locke/John and Claire aren't brother and sister, JACK and Claire are half siblings.

I'm a bit late but oh well xD Michael was handcuffed and they knew his real name because, in the previous episode, Sayid gave him up and told them about how Michael was lying to them. I think the captain was so keen to help them because he didn't agree (or didn't even know, I'm not sure which) about what Keamy was planning to do.

Christian wasn't the one who got shot. The one who got shot in Australia was that random person who Sawyer (as in James Ford) thought was the guy who conned his parents. He met Christian in the pub AFTER he killed that guy. But yes, Christian is dead at this point anyway. xD

They introduced Nikki and Paulo quite suddenly because people started complaining about how it was unrealistic that there weren't very many main characters. They killed them off because so many people then complained that they didn't like Nikki and Paulo. :)
