You want to watch her cry? she cried when she heard about it, but do you expect her to talk about him all day? When my grandpa died, we went after the funeral to his house, and I laughed my cousins and talked about other things. Does that mean I didn't care for my grandpa, or didn't feel incredibly sad? I did. But you can't mourn all day, you've got to move on with your life. Sometimes I think about him and get all chocked up, even years after his death. I'm sure same goes for Claire and Hurley.

To me, anyways, Claire seems different- she is much less enthusiastic, and she seems to really want to be involved in what's going on, which is something she's never done before. She acts more mature, I feel, and I think it's beacuse Charlie's death made her realize that all the stuff that had been going around in past seasons are really close to her and she can't ignore it anymore.

People seem to be like that whenever anyone dies. They care about it for like one episode and barely mention them again. With Charlie though, he was closest to Hurley and Claire, but they barely have any screentime now, so we're not likely to see them grieving.

Poor Michael. His life just sucks no matter what he does. And now he's broken the thing he was trying to fix. He wanted to protect his son, and it's all been fucked up.
