Hurley eats all the kitchens supplies leaving the dharmaville without food. Kate is sent to hunt some boars (which are still present on the island at this point of time). Ben shows Sayid a prison break plan tatood on his back. Sayid then escapes the camp and allies with Richard. In present time Locke finds the long hidden A-bomb and decides to detonate it, he just doesnt know how yet. After being attacked by San Ben wakes up in the jungle without clothes. The episode ends when Christian appears on the Jack-Sawyer marriage ceremony.

To the people who keep saying things like, "Its a show dude. its not real" or, "you guys are obsessed with LOST, it is just a movie and nothing more!!!", or things like that... I've just gotta say, uh... yes, we're all quite aware this is a TV show and these characters aren't real. We're not complete idiots. Some of us have degrees, others have diplomas and I'm sure many of us are quite well educated, but that doesn't mean we can't temporarily escape this reality and indulge ourselves in a little entertainment. Just because we immensely enjoy a TV show doesn't make us obsessed and it doesn't mean we can't comment on the characters as if they were real. How do you enjoy anything if you have this perpetual thought in your head that "this isn't real!"?

Malek, every single day I constantly have the thought in my head that "this isn't real". Go stand in a shopping mall for 30 minutes. If you don't feel like your living a scene from a David Lynch film, you're missing something.

So in many ways they are more real than us.

There's a duality between jack and sawyer.. somebody said earlier something about juliet and jack being good and sawyer and kate being bad. That's a fact they complement each other by opposition... I mean, don't you hate jack extreme seriousness, this usually happens with the main characters on our culture... he is "the guy" he can't do bad things, he can't sound stupid or anything like that. If you want humor you got to go for charlie or hugo, if you want someone "bad" you need to go to sawyer. As a matter of fact this serie can turn you crazy thinking about all the characters that are related this way. Jack is science against locke faith, and locke is somehow a "good" leader against Ben, who is "the bad guy who know a lot of things" against widmore who is the "the other guy who knows a lot of things and apparently not so bad" (maybe BEn ends up being a god guy forced to do bad thing). Juliet renounced to Jack, she can let go of things, while kate can't and wants all the guys for herself.
This could go on and on, and on and on...

Any theories about dead bodies on the island? I know there's something to do with that. Mr eco's brother yermi appeared on the island nd his dead body was there, also with jack's father... I suppose that was what happened with Rousseau's friends. maybe it's only that the island, or jacob can use dead people to talk to living. In the other hand the Yermi that Eco saw said something about not being really Yermi, while the Charlie that appeared to Hugo acted as id he was Charlie.

Someone mentioned Claire... yes I totally forgot she was even in the show! But you know who I miss? I really miss Charlie. He was a good kid. I wish they'd bring him back, like these creative LOST writers have the tendency to do; bring back people from the dead.
To Sarah... I don't think all this outrage in this forum is targeted towards cucirca.com, but rather towards the people who are responsible for not airing the show on TV this week. We all deeply appreciate cucirca. POCHO, I think the Others resurrect the dead somehow to increase their population because they can't reproduce (but Penny will solve that). Notice that the names of many characters parallel famous philosophers - the philosopher Jean Paul Sartre said "l'enfer c'est les Autres" which is The hell it is the Others in French. The quote I found used a capital A for Autres and that means Others in French.
Also, Charlotte said "This place is Death" just before she won the gold medal in nose-bleeding. These must be clues to the island.
Nice quote! Yeah it might have something to do with that, anyhow in the last episode they showed the reproduction problem wasn't always there. What I really would like to know how much does Jacob like the Others or what, since they kind of follow Ben. And who the hell is Richard?

POCHO, Richard is that calm guy who was talking to John Locke near the tent just before Locke transported into another time. The one Locke told he was their leader. He's the one who takes orders from Ben, or TOOK orders from Ben, or WILL take orders from Ben or whenever the hell these people are. I think he's "second in command" or something. He was the one who also witnessed Locke's birth.
Matthew, is that a serious question or are you referring that I somehow resemble Christopher Columbus? If it's the former, then the answer is nope! If it's the latter on the other hand, then the answer is... uh... nope!

The thing is - from reading above - its not jacob controlling the dead, its that if you die off the island and then come to it you can be reborn - its rejuvination - a fresh start. Thats why Yermi isn't really alive but can be manipulated by jacob and thats why people like Ecko,Boon etc. only kind of half come back - but john, Jacks father and Charlie seem to be alive because they weren't actually on the island - well thats what I think.
I also think that Richard is the boy. He acted through Ben, but Ben got too power hungry. It's tough abotu predictions currently - but I reckon Ben moved the island because he knew he'd survive and end up in Tunisia like before, but he knew if Locke did it, then Ben would be the one who'd have to sacrifice himself and be the dead body on the plane, and he wasn't sure if he'd arrive alive because he's been a twat and does the island want him?
Who knows. But still got to love lost.

I think it was Charlie who told Hurley to go to the plane because Hurley has been in contact with charlie for a long time and he brought a guitar with him which could have belonged to him. Which leds to another: Eloise Hawking told Jack to bring something personal of his dad to the island just like Hurley is doing. So maybe Charlie isn't done for after all.

Wonder how Jack is going to be with Sawyer calling the shots - he doesn't look pleased.
Man, what is UP with Juliette? She was really flirting with Kate at the orientation building. Why is she cheating on Rose? The plot thickens.
Sawyer is drunk with power. He is getting off on the idea of Jack cleaning up people's feces. At least now we know why Ben is so desperate to get back. He has to save his twin, little Ben. THAT's why one of the twin Ben's is younger than the other - because they're not TWINS, they're the SAME PERSON living at the same time at different ages.

Cool episode, so little Ben is already in contact with the others! Sandwich kind of explains that... How come Sun is not with Jack, Kate,...? Maybe she needed to be with Jin to be able to go in the past? Cause they needed to recreate as much as possible the old crash: Sayid in handcups (like Kate), Jack travelling with a dead person, Hurley with guitar (like Charlie)... Sun had nothing, so maybe she stayed stuck in the present? Wonder what's going to happen! Jack & Sawyer, you can feel tention already oo! :)

so as this weeks episode was kinda poo, i think its best we move on to next weeks obviousley young ben has hidden a hacksaw blade and a gun in the sandwich and when sayid is given a full english breakfast with his egg sunny side down he flips and switches to cold blooded killer mode and all hell breaks loose theres tentsion between kate and juliet, but things boil over between sawyer and jack when sawyer asks jack to unblock a toilet that sawyer has blocked with a huge log hurley is fired from his job in the kitchen after he eats all the pies locke and ben have an uneasy calm and get a visit from richard and claire is eaten by a polar bear hope ive not spoilt anything for anybody

Horace says in Locke dream that he's been dead for 12 years(fink was season 4) and he died in the purge so the purge wont happen for many a years and i predict another time flash before then.

I think the reason Sun couldn't go back was cos she left her child at home. She had Jin's ring so she had a link so that's the only reason I can think of. Also does anyone know why John doesn't go back with them?

The reason you hear numbers during the crash is because of the numerical value of the digits. They are whole numbers and are withing the set of rational numbers. These numbers are only some of the figures that could be considered quantitative.

bombjack, Frank Lapidus is Christian Shephard's twin brother, not Locke's. John Locke is no longer important to the show. Locke's purpose was to give organs to his father and to be used by Ben. Now he is like a soiled tissue stuck to the island's shoe.
Frank is Jack's and Claire's uncle. He and Juliette will be having a baby after Juliette produces a child with Sawyer. When these two half-siblings are born, Juliette will meet Rose in Room 23 of the Hydra Station where they will "BLEND".
Watch for lots of "BLENDING" in upcoming episodes. It's the new watchword for LOST.

The only hint i can give is that at the very start of an earlier episode in this season, some men are digging and mining under the surface of the island, a man tells them to stop drilling because they are going to hit 'pure energy'. Faraday is seen dressed in in the Dharma uniform listening to this conversation. We can presume from this that Faraday was assigned on a work placement away from Sawyer (Lafleur) and Juliette, also that he somehow ran into trouble due to his knowledge of physics.

dudes i think that the real plane of lost in season 1 crashed on september 22 of 2004 so that means 2004-16=1988 so the plane now of 316 crashed before the french woman sank ono the island!Also how come you (all answers) know that locke isn't important? last i heard locke is very important and if it wasn't for locke this series wouldn't have continued!!!

Now, he has fulfilled his purpose. He can be flushed. Look to Cheeks Shephard to take his place as a "resource" character now that Sawyer is a powerbroker. Kristian, good question about the twin Bens. The "good reason" for having twin Bens is 1. to create tension as the older Ben needs to protect the younger Ben for his own survival. 2. @cyril flight 316 crashed in 2008. in one of the time skips we saw the ajira airlines bottle on the beach and the outriggers. the 815 camp is deserted so its after 2004/5. maybe the numbers we heard wasnt the numbers transmition from the tower. unless someone has reactivated the numbers signal

I read a comment somewhere from the producers/writers that the Boxing Day Tsunami of 2004 will be written into the story line. This could explain the condition of the Dharma buildings.
Also I am guessing that they knew that 316 would crash on the smaller island and thats why the built the runway (a few seasons back when Sawyer and Kate were locked in cages on that island, at one point they were forced to work, crushing rocks which I think was for the building of a runway!

supajosh, yes about the outriggers. When Sawyer's little group were time-flashing and nose-bleeding they came across the outriggers and used them to flee so that was BEFORE the 316 crash.
Hurley and Sayid are not gay. Hurley loves Libby and Sayid loves Sayid. Only Locke and Boone were. And Juliette too- but Juliette isn't really gay. She just tries to protect herself by sleeping with ANYONE who seems to be in power at the moment. She is a politician pure and simple.
The only thing that is sweet sweet sweeeeeeeet is Cheeks Shephard's dairymaid cheeks. Those cheeks debuted in the first minute of the 316 episode. Watch. They are MASSIVE.

All Questions, so then don't believe me. That's fine. Everyone should believe what they want. That's what makes the show interesting. If you watch the first minute of the 316 episode you will see the largest cheeks you've ever seen in your entire life.
There are no cheeks more massive on Earth than Jack Shephard's. You could land flight 316 on those vast dairymaid's cheeks. I think this is an important clue to the island but you don't have to believe that. Make your own theory and share it! :D

oK! Im going to be blunt,,To some degree! Im sticking with the egyptian mythology theme.Why you ask?.Because there’s so much within the mythology itself “i find” that it could actually present a plausable explanation for everything which has happened within LOST up to date:) I relate once more to a question that it seems no one,but myself!;) has given answer to. “What is the smoke monster???” Well in my oponion “pfft!” The smoke monster = SEKER:O Sekers domain was reserved for the wicked, and was shrouded in impenetrable blackness. It was populated with terrible serpents and other reptiles of “terrifying aspect”. These creatures sometimes had two, or even three heads. They were meant to keep order in Seker’s domain and keep his image. This was because Seker did not reside necessarily in his own domain, but in his hidden chambers deep into the earth. He rarely came up, so there was little desire for his cult members to want to reside there.,, UR WELCOME:)

I wonder whether the smoke monster is some sort of machine (security system as it has been described) that exists in another dimension but somehow can interact with the dimension we see in the show and what we see is, for want of a better word, an inter-dimensional shadow of the 'security system'. It may still also be the basis for some mythological creature like Seker. Also occasionally we have seen smaller smoke clouds which could be other machines or people from a different dimension trying to cross over dimensions.
Something else interesting – if you look closely when Christian is showing the photo to Sun and Frank, the door swings open and it appears that a faint cloud of smoke enters the room.
It could be that it's not actually a god but that some accient civalisation thought that is was a god!

All Doubts, that theory is deeply elegant. I have tears in my eyes. Unfortunately it doesn't explain the smoke monster.
The smoke monster is the mechanism for BLENDING. The Others perform a sacrificial ceremony by giving mortals to it to be recombined genetically as a new entity (an "Other"). In this way the smoke monster helps the island reconcile the paradoxes created by the time travel. The smoke monster isn't a god. It is a kind of HEALER.
The Egyptian theory is also valid because the Others are Egyptians who were BLENDED with Dharmans. The Ptolemaic dynasty began this tradition and the Others perfected it. It's all very elementary.

San and Lapidus trying to get back to 1977 are thrown to year 40,000 and meet the mysterious HORUS just before his heresy and emperors fall. Hurley eats all the kitchens supplies leaving the dharmaville without food. Kate is sent to hunt some boars (which are still present on the island at this point of time). Ben shows Sayid a prison break plan tatood on his back. Sayid then escapes the camp and allies with Richard. In present time Locke finds the long hidden A-bomb and decides to detonate it, he just doesnt know how yet. After being attacked by San Ben wakes up in the jungle without clothes. The episode ends when Christian appears on the Jack-Sawyer marriage ceremony.

Frank is Jack's and Claire's uncle. He and Juliette will be having a baby after Juliette produces a child with Sawyer. When these two half-siblings are born, Juliette will meet Rose in Room 23 of the Hydra Station where they will "BLEND".

@joshuaxsuperjosh - Im not sure where Daniel Faraday is at the moment, although i am sure that a future episode will reveal this in full. The only hint i can give is that at the very start of an earlier episode in this season, some men are digging and mining under the surface of the island, a man tells them to stop drilling because they are going to hit 'pure energy'. Faraday is seen dressed in in the Dharma uniform listening to this conversation. We can presume from this that Faraday was assigned on a work placement away from Sawyer (Lafleur) and Juliette, also that he somehow ran into trouble due to his knowledge of physics.

What does work is if you leave it load the whole thing then set your browser to work offline and then play, however the message may still come up if it does just change it to work online and refresh the page click the part in which the video stopped cause of the message, let it load untill the end of the video then change it to work offline and click play.
