Amazing storyline ... that never gets resolved - too many untied threads, they jumped the shark at the end. The writers (who were many) didn't know in the first season, second season ec. when the show would not be picked up by the network again, so they just kept coming up with story lines. There was no way to tie them all up by the end, so they just jumped the shark. The greatest con in TV history after Bobby Ewing walked out of the shower.

so it felt pretty quick at the end
